US actress Evan Rachel Wood has taken to Twitter to blast the Daily Mail for publishing photos of her ultrasound scan.
Wood, who is married to Billy Elliott star Jamie Bell, said she did not see the paparazzi and was on the roof of the hospital car parking building when the photo was taken.
The actress tweeted that she had never felt more violated by a photographer.
"That’s my child. It’s not even out of the womb and they are snapping photos of it."
She asked the Daily Mail to remove the photos, saying they were private medical records and publishing them was an invasion of privacy. The images seem to have been removed from the site.
Wood starred in The Wrestler with Mickey Rourke, played a supporting role on True Blood and earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role as Kate Winslet's daughter in the mini-series Mildred Pierce.
